ABSTRACT:

In order for local authorities in England and Wales to send information securely with central organisations, such as the Department of Work, they were required to meet the Government Connect Secure Extranet Code of Connection (GCSX CoCo). The City of York Council (CYC) struggled to meet these compliance requirements as they tried to manage the process internally. In this case study, explore how Dell SecureWorks enabled CYC to overcome their initial challenges by simplifying the compliance process.
