Description
UniPress Software, Inc. is a privately held company that has served more than 20,000 customers to date. Founded in 1983 by Mark Krieger and Fred Pack, the company was initially established as a developer and distributor of PC and UNIX connectivity solutions. In 1996, UniPress introduced FootPrints®, a web-based issue management software tool designed to streamline help desk and other issue management activities.

The adoption of FootPrints by corporate organizations, government agencies and educational institutions quickly grew, allowing tracking and managing of all types of customer problems, requests, issues, activities and tasks for both internal and external customers. Recognizing the need for customers to quickly implement ways to streamline and centralize issue management, coupled with cost reduction and workflow efficiency initiatives, UniPress addressed the void in the market for an easy-to-use, fast-to-implement web-based system. UniPress continued to expand the product's functionality and expanded into multiple versions along with fully integrated, add-on modules to meet varying customer requirements.
